Day 1:

 Adelaide – Barossa Valley

(67 kms / 42 miles / 50 minutes driving time)

Depart Adelaide towards the wine-producing region

of the Barossa Valley. Enjoy tastings at some of the

famous vineyards. Standard: Barossa Motor Lodge

Day 2: 

Barossa Valley – Robe

(356 kms / 222 miles / 4 hours 30 minutes driving time)

Pass through the historic trading post of Mannum

located on the mighty Murray River, and along the

coastal lagoon systems of the Coorong National

Park, before continuing to Robe. Standard: Best

Day3: 

Robe – Port Fairy

(321 km / 199 miles / 4 hours driving time OR 516 km / 320

miles / 6 hours 30 minutes driving time via The Grampians)

Today you have a choice of routes. The shorter takes

you via Mount Gambier and hugs the coastline to

the quaint fishing village of Port Fairy. Alternatively,

make an early start and enjoy the scenic inland

route through the Grampians National Park.

Day 4: 

Port Fairy – Lorne / Apollo Bay

(194 km / 120 miles / 2 hours 30 minutes to Apollo Bay OR 239

This stretch of coastline is known as the ‘Shipwreck

Coast’ and boasts natural features such as the giant

stone pillars known as the ‘Twelve Apostles’.

Continue through Cape Otway and then rejoin the

coastline to Apollo Bay or Lorne. Standard: Comfort

Day 5: 

 Apollo Bay / Lorne – Melbourne

Follow the coast via Bells Beach to Torquay, the

surfing capital of Australia. Skirt around the edge of

Port Phillip Bay back to Melbourne.
