When To Buy

Funnily enough, one of the biggest influences on the best buying time for a used car is.... the weather.

Sunny bright days are good buying days. You can inspect the car carefully in your own time.

Dark rainy days are bad buying days. It’s hard to see the condition and rain on the bodywork can hide a multitude of sins. Never inspect a car in the rain.

New car registration changes are a good time to go looking for newer used cars from dealers. By the end of the month the dealer should have plenty of stock and they will want to move them before month end to help their sales figures. This is a great time to haggle good and hard.
