Find a straight, quiet road. Pull up in a safe place on the left.
When your supervisor tells you, move away making sure of good observations.
Drive at a normal speed for the area and conditions.
When your supervisor says 'stop', take your foot off the accelerator and firmly press the brake. Do NOT stamp and do NOT press the clutch down straight away.
Hold the steering wheel firmly.
If the car skids, use cadence braking.
As the car comes to a halt, press the clutch right down.
Once stopped, pull on the handbrake and select neutral.
Check your mirrors.
When your supervisor asks you to move away, select 1st and then do a full 360 degree observation.
If all clear, release the handbrake and move away.
