Good Instructors

Here's a list of ways to spot a good instructor - not in order of importance:

  • 1. DSA grading 5 or 6 - with certificate as proof
  • 2. Clean appearance.
  • 3. Clean, fresh car.
  • 4. Always on time.
  • 5. Always teaches full lesson time.
  • 6. Car in good condition and, preferably, less than 3 years old.
  • 7. Never shouts.
  • 8. Adapts lessons to suit your needs.
  • 9. Patient and friendly.
  • 10. Always plans lessons well and tells you what the lesson will be.
  • 11. Encourages you and de-briefs you at the end of every lesson.

This is not an exhaustive list - just a few pointers. But you get our drift.
