Re: I need help :(

By the 'second' side, do you mean the 'near side'?  With any car you need to practice on points of reference to establish how close you are to the kerb, for example. Try pulling up to a straight car and spend a little time manoeuvring the car into a position a few centimetres out and parallel (this may take you a little time, but be patient). Once you have done this, sit straight in the driver's seat and see how the kerb lines up with something on the dash or windscreen wipers - there's usually something! When you have found this point of reference you can then use it when you are driving to judge your distance from the kerb.

Another way is to ask your mentor or instructor to regularly let you know how far you are from obstructions, this way you will begin to get the 'feel' of where you are in the road through experience.

Bear in mind that all these things can take time - much of learning to drive is getting lots of practice.

Re: I need help :(

Ok - we understand each other, then! By the way, there is a typo in my reply - when I say pull up to a straight 'car', I mean pull up to a straight 'kerb'. Sorry if it confused you.
